Now that spring football has ended we take a look at the class of 2011 prospects. Here is our top 50 for Broward County topped by St. Thomas Aquinas standout offensive lineman Bobby Hart.
1. Bobby Hart - 6 foot 4, 280-pounds Offensive Tackle - St. Thomas Aquinas
Hart is the best offensive line prospect in Broward County this year. His technique has really improved over the past year.
2. Marcus Roberson - 6 foot 1, 174-pounds Cornerback - St. Thomas Aquinas
Roberson is one the fastest rising prospects in the nation. He is extremely fluid and will come up a hit you.
3. Bryant Dubose - 6 foot 4, 245-pounds Defensive End - Northeast
Dubose has the ability to take over games when motivated. Currently has Miami and Florida as his leaders.
4. Kent Turene - 6 foot 2, 230-pounds Linebacker - Boyd Anderson
Turene is one of the top inside linebackers in the nation. He most recent offers have come from Alabama, USC, Florida and Georgia.
5. Phillip Dorsett - 5 foot 9, 170-pounds Wide Receiver - St. Thomas Aquinas
Dorsett is the extremely fast and an excellent route runner. His size and hands are a concern right now for him.
6. Rashad Greene - 6 foot , 170-pounds Wide Receiver - St. Thomas Aquinas
Greene has all the physical tools to be an outstanding wide receiver. His toughness is his only question mark.
7. Corey Tindal - 5 foot 10, 175-pounds Cornerback - Boyd Anderson
The transfer from Stranahan also plays running back and safety, but his best position is cornerback. He is an explosive athlete that's motor does not stop.
8. Jerrard Randall - 6 foot 1, 170-pounds Quarterback - Chaminade Madonna
Randall is good runner at quarterback and has a strong arm though he must improve his accuracy.
9. Wayne Lyons - 5 foot 11, 185-pounds Safety - Dillard
Lyons is an outstanding student athlete who plays in the box a lot as a safety.
10. Shaun Ward - 6 foot 2, 235-pounds Defensive End/Linebacker - Boyd Anderson
Ward has committed to Maryland, but is still attracting other offers. He can rush the passer or drop into coverage and cover a tight end or a running back.
11. Ryan Shazier - 6 foot 2, 200-pounds Defensive End - Plantation
Shazier can rush the passer, but in college he will transition to outside linebacker. He is a good athlete now does he have the instincts to play the position?
12. Kevin Grooms - 5 foot 10, 170-pounds Athlete - South Broward
Grooms' is an explosive athlete that plays running back, cornerback and is a great return man for South Plantation.
13. Nile Lawrence-Stample - 6 foot 2, 290-pounds Defensive Tackle - Nova
This FSU commit looks the part as of defensive tackle, but his motor is a major question mark.
14. Tevin Westbrook - 6 foot 6, 250-pounds Defensive End - No School
Westbrook is extremely raw but his upside is tremendous. Right now he has not decided which high school he will attend in the fall.
15. Steven Montgomery - 5 foot 10, 185-pounds Safety - Miramar
Montgomery is one of the hardest hitters in the secondary.
16. Harmon Brown - 5 foot 8, 165-pounds Cornerback - Boyd Anderson
Brown is a lock down cornerback despite his small stature.
17. Curt Evans - 5 foot 10, 175-pounds Wide Receiver - Chaminade Madonna
Evans big play threat at wide receiver, and sees time at defensive back also.
18. Khambrel Garland - 5 foot 11, 170-pounds Safety - St. Thomas Aquinas
Garland will come up a lay the wood, but he needs to work on his hands though as he dropped a couple interceptions in their Blue and Gold game.
19. Cedric Thompson - 6 foot 1, 210 Running Back - Everglades
Thompson is a power running back. He doesn't have great speed but he runs hard and is very physical.
20. Ken Hankerson - 6 foot, 210-pounds Linebacker - St. Thomas Aquinas
Hankerson is another standout on defensive for St. Thomas Aquinas.
21. Jonathan Aiken - 5 foot 10, 175-pounds Safety - Chaminade Madonna
22. Marken Michel - 5 foot 9, 175-pounds Wide Receiver - American Heritage
23. Jesse York - 5 foot 11, 175-pounds Wide Receiver - Boyd Anderson
24. Allen Ramsey - 6 foot , 160-pounds Cornerback - Dillard
25. Daerius Washington - 6 foot, 190-pounds Linebacker - Dillard
26. Mike Brown - 5 foot 11, 195-pounds Linebacker - Boyd Anderson
27. Jeremy Cash - 6 foot 1, 185-pounds Safety - Plantation
28. Jacob Rudock - 6 foot 2, 175-pounds Quarterback St. Thomas Aquinas
29. Courtney Bynes - 5 foot 9, 160-pounds Wide Receiver - Boyd Anderson
