Cougars Offer Texas Kicker
When new head coach Tony Levine was officially named to his position last year most could easily assume that under his watch there would be an emphasis placed on special teams. While he was an assistant on Kevin Sumlin's staff and in charge of special teams the Cougars used a scholarship on punter Richie Leone who has proven to be a valuable asset to the team. In the 2013 recruiting class the Cougars will look to again use a scholarship on a special teamer, this time a field goal kicker.
In the world of specialist these days most high school prospects have a personal coach and attend kicking camps across the country for competition and to hone their skills. For Southlake (TX) Carroll kicker Ty Cummings his path has been similar.
