Aboya Tames His Game

6-foot-8, 235 pound men with rippling muscles aren't supposed to be able to run the way UCLA sophomore center Alfred Aboya can run. Bringing to mind visions of former Bruin big man Dan Gadzuric in terms of athleticism and quickness, Aboya's mission at this point is to find the ability to harness that innate talent, somehow using it efficiently and productively on a basketball court.

Aboya, the oldest member of the Bruin team by nearly a whole calendar year, will be counted on to provide something of a low post presence on this UCLA team which is loaded with perimeter scoring. Last season as a true freshman, the native of Cameroon showed flashes of brilliance and potential when given the opportunity.
