Extra offense could mean deep run for Aggies
Texas A&M is in its best position ever heading into the postseason as the Aggies are ranked No. 7 in the nation and are a consensus pick for a No. 2 seed in the NCAA tournament, which would be A&M's highest seed ever.
The Aggies, however, have some unfinished business this week in Oklahoma City where they are the second seed in the Big 12 tournament. They will open Friday at 6 p.m. with the winner of the first round game between Oklahoma State and Nebraska.
A&M could potentially have a rematch with archrival Texas in the semifinals and another rematch with Kansas in the final.
But if the Aggies want to win a conference tournament final, and advance to the Final Four in late March, they will need more offensive output from players not named Acie Law or Joseph Jones.
