FSU commit goes on the record
STATE COLLEGE, Pa.- Florida State safety commit Nick Moody of Philadelphia (Pa.) Roman Catholic made the three hour drive west to State College, Pa., last Saturday to compete at the Nike Camp being held on the Penn State campus. The 6-foot-2, 210-pounder had a solid outing and spoke with Rivals.com about the state of Seminole recruiting, why he chose FSU and what it means to be a special football player in a basketball town.
Moody gave a verbal commitment to Florida State on April 17. Since then, he has been helping the Seminoles coaching staff recruit some key out-of-state targets, such as fellow Pennsylvanian A.J. Alexander and Virginia Beach quarterback E.J. Manuel.
