Robinson has flown way under the radar
It's hard to believe a prospect that played junior varsity last year already has seven scholarship offers. However, that's the case with Klein (Texas) Oak athlete Terrence Robinson. Of course, one needs to first understand the reason behind him being at the lower level. It seems it has nothing to do with grades, character or ability - only a glitch in transfer requirements.
As a junior the 5-foot-9, 170-pound Robinson saw his production limited to junior varsity due to his sophomore year transfer from conference rival Sprin High School. UIL rules prohibited him from playing for another school in the same conference for one full year. Regardless, he has accumulated scholarship offers from Nebraska, Oregon, TCU, SMU, New Mexico State, Houston and Tulsa. He is in the process of setting fall official visits to several of the offering instutions.
