St. Louis QB on Iowa's radar
With a definite need at quarterback, Iowa is looking to take one or possibly even two prospects at the position in 2010 and have several players on their early radar. One of those is St. Louis signal caller Steve Kaiser, who was in Iowa City for a junior day visit with the Hawkeyes earlier this month.
Along with Iowa, the 6-foot-3, 215-pound Kaiser is hearing from a number of other schools, including Missouri, Duke, Nebraska, Iowa State, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, and Northwestern, but is still looking for his first scholarship offer. Coaches continue to evaluate film from his junior year in which he threw for 1,444 yards and 15 touchdowns in leading DeSmet to an 8-3 record.
