LAS VEGAS - FT. Wayne Blackhawk Christian star Russell Byrd is still in the process of getting acclimated to playing for a new team after switching from the Spiece Indy Heat to the Michigan Mustangs just last week.

But even though Byrd is in the midst of a transition on the court, off the court he fits in with the Mustangs just fine.

"Russell is the kind of guy that fits in real well," said Appling. "He is a real cool guy. He fits in real well with us. Once he gets going a little bit we are going to be tough to beat."
