BeaverBlitz.com Despite the difference in the weather today, the atmosphere around Tommy Prothro field was much the same as yesterday. For the most part, it was business as usual for a majority of the team as it was another day without pads, geared towards teaching and low contact drills.
The exception was the defensive line group. They stepped up their intensity all around as Coach Joe Seumalo had his guys bouncing back forth between the sleds located on the practice fields and the Truax Indoor Practice Facility, where they performed numerous other drills. The higher intensity surrounding their drills proved to be a key part in the recruiting front as well, as 2010 4-star DT prospect, Happy Iona, looked on from the sideline.

opposite of Patrick Henderson at the cornerback position.
- Wilder McAndrews again sat out of practice, still recuperating from his wrist surgery. Although he wasn't participating in drills, he still moved
around with the OL group and provided insight for some of the new guys. He seems to be chomping at the bit to get back out on the field to work towards earning some playing time this season, as every time I looked over at the OL group he was working on some individual drills by himself, working on form and footwork.
