Mangino on taking Reesing out of the game:I don't think it was difficult at all. He wasn't getting great protection from the offensive line. I didn't want him taking anymore shots. Things weren't in sync for our whole offense. It was in his best interest and our teams best interest.

Mangino on telling his team how important Saturday's game is:They will read the papers and hear that from all you guys. They are not going to hear that from me. My message is that we need to get ourselves better. We got improve fundamentally and assignments. All that other stuff doesn't mean anything if you don't take care of business on the field.

Mangino on how Reesing handled coming out of the game on Saturday:He's absolutely fine. We practiced yesterday and he wants a win. I don't see any probelsms with him about anything. I think the least of his worries should be about coming out of the game.

Mangino on the return of Bill Snyder: I have coached against him before and this is nothing new for us. This is another game on the schedule and K-state is an instate rival and the kids get excited about this game. I have been in this league for a long time so I got friends coaching everywhere.
