High School: A two-year letterwinner at James Bowie HS... Played safety and cornerback... A two-time all-district selection... As a senior he posted 75 tackles to go along with 15 passes broken up, three interceptions and two blocked punts... Team was 11-2, won the district championship and advanced to the round of 16 in the state playoffs his senior year... Team finished the regular season ranked fourth in the state... As a junior he had 103 tackles, two interceptions and 11 pass break ups... Team advanced to state semifinals his junior year... Was also a state qualifier in track.

2009 (RS): Redshirted his first year at KU... Named KU defensive scout player of the week vs. Iowa State.

2010 (Fr.): Did not see any action during the season.

2011 (So.): Played in all 12 games ... Made first career start at Texas A&M ... Collected a pair of tackles against McNeese State and at Texas ... Had a solo stop at Georgia Tech and against Kansas State ... Made a career high three tackles at Texas A&M.
