Hey guys I am just trying to get this new dynasty going a little bit. I would like to be the commissioner if thats alright. Only join if your going to check often. Ill keep this dynasty moving and advancing it every 2-3 days or whatever we all decide on. We will get all the rules decided on later. Everyone in the dynasty has the chance to be back in the dynasty before new people join. We need people who are going to check this every day or maybe every other day. We wanna advance 2-3 times a week.
Heres a few things we need to decide on. Should we make all the teams in one conference or just keep the teams in there respective conferences. How many user games, Quarter Length etc.......
We will pick the drafting oreder later but here is who we have in the dynasty now.

6 min quarters, on heisman. This year you can pick any team and do create a conference. I think that would be easiest to do in order not to have the commish do everyones schedules at the beginning of the year.

I would like to be in it as well. When does the new game come out? If we can create a conference that would be ideal and I think Heisman is the correct setting, AA was just too easy for non con games. One question...will we ever finish the season in our 2009? Has anyone heard from Jon (aquahung)???

Cooljeff, your in. I would like to also finish the other one. I think it would be cool if we were able to creat 2 conferences. You could also maybe cgreat one power conference of like Texas, USC, Oklahoma, Ohio State and a bunch of rummies and then have the other users be in the SEC and be Florida, Tennessee, LSU, ALabama, Georgia.

if we are all in one conference I would suggest we are the pack 10...we should all play everyone and not have a conference championship game. If not or if we have more then 10 teams then the two conf. might make sense.
I am in another dynasty and we had to pick teams from the pac 10, big 10 or big east that were not ranked and could not be located in cali, texas or florida...made it pretty equal and challenging to build up mediocre programs without the big recuriting base states on heisman level. I actually lost 2 games to the computer the first season.

I texted John about two weeks ago, and didn't get any response. He's usually pretty prompt about those things, so I figure he's either done with it, ridiculously busy, or something unfortunate happened. I hope it's one of the first two.

count me in. Definately play on heisman this year so we dont put up 100 on the computer every game. I am up for putting all the user teams in the same conference. The way it sounds we could pick any team we want and then put all those teams into say the pac 10 and play it from there. I like the pac 10 since everybody plays everybody. Just shoot me a text when the new game comes out.

Sorry for the absence guys - I assure you I'm ok. I got really busy for a week or two, and then I just kind of lost interest and it seemed like everyone else was too. I'll check it out sometime this weekend and roll it forward. I guess I just figured it was dead - really sorry.
I would love to play 2010, but I don't think I'm going to be able to. I could probably only commit while in the summer, I'm starting law school in August and won't have the time. Best to bow out, I guess. Have fun with it.

I would play but I doubt I can get 3 games in per week. Maybe 2 per week.
FYI, the '10 version has the ability to create super conferences in online Mode. I.E you can make a new conference with USC, Texas, Flordia, Ohio State, etc all in the same conference.

i have a friend that will play but probably two times a week as a rule and three times a week as the exception when it can happen would work best for him. There will be times that I will be out of town for between 2 days and a week but I will always endeavor to announce that in advance...if it can be cooridnated great, if not I will accept the auto obviously. Should be a lot of fun...the race for the conf. championship is going to be the goal and we could very well have some .500 or below teams...lot's of good players in this league. I just drew names out of a hat to determine the draft order.
If we can find someone else to play they can take 10,11,12 in the draft.

we are not keeping the same teams as last year? That is fine I guess. If we only have 10 people that makes a modified pac 10 perfect. In that situation since we will all play each other in the regular season I am not sure we need the conf championship. Of course if we have more then 10 we will have to do something else. I am not opposed to that conf championship game but I do think unbalanced conf. schedules kind of suck

This is my opinion but i dont think we should all be in the same conference. I say we schedule 4 human games minimum. It would just be weird having all these random teams in a conference. I think its funner having 2-3 in one conference and play it out realistically. That just My opinion, thoughts? majority rules.....

going to pick it up tonight...any word on roster updates or will that be handled in the OD invite? I would hope we wait for the initial ea patch and then the named rosters before we move forward...also I played the demo for the first time last night...how doe you guys feel about that camera angle and is it possible to change it for an OD?

I think I am getting the roster tomorrow sometime. I will let the board know asap and the gamer tag that I am getting them from.
Also, not sure if anyone has tried the dynasty stuff at all but you can BUY extra help with real money. I say we take that option off so teams cannot have an advantage.

I would hope we could outlaw the recruiting/dynasty add ons in our dynasty. Are we sure there is a way to block them or ban them from the dynasty?
I have not played a full game yet...seems a lot harder to pass, like running the ball might be the way to go this year...camera nagle is difficult to get used to and not much time in the pocket. I better play a game or two today and try to improve

ok...a couple of questions:
did we disable to recruit assist features? is it standard schedule or are we going to add human v. human games? staying in real world conferences or are we going to align into one or two custom conference? is ice the kicker and qb quiz disabled?

I am fine if we keep it at 5 minute quarters but I thought the 6 minute quarters last year made for realistic scores in our human v. human games.
