"IMO no different than every single football championship awarded.....ever. When the NCAA finally goes to a playoff format(if ever) will we null and void all prior football championships?"

I see some similar things but one major difference, the voters today get to see the teams play. In 1922 and 1923, television was not an option. Unless the Helm Foundation has some state of the art cameras that were not known to the public, they never saw the teams play.
