JSN...if I understand correctly, in season showdown basically kansas fans are accumulating points in a variety of areas (sportsmanship, strategy, loyalty, wins)for the benefit of kanss i some sort of nationwide competition. If you won by that much and was passing in the second half and did not see any -100 "running up the score" messages then you must not be in the showdown.
does anyone know how to disable or opt out of the showdown? I have not found a way as of yet

I saw a few messages pop up but no negative points. I wasn't really paying attention to it though. I did pass the ball in the fourth quarter but with my 2nd string players. Gotta get them reps :)

Raz...we play next. I have a 5:45 game scheduled in another league. Let me check with the g/f and see what her schedule is...I need to get in a work out some time with her tonight after that previous game. If I can go tonight I will give you a few times, if not let's set up something firm for Tues.
I tried to be on a lot of yesterday but I never caught you online.
I can do 9:00 PM on Monday, will that work for you?

will this league ever advance? Heads up...I am out the entire week of AUg 21st through the 29th. I do not mind if it is advanced if it is a vs. cpu game but I will be displeased if it is advanced vs. a humon opponent...I mean we have waited about a week or more in between advancements now...
RAZ are you ever going to be able to log in again? Still shows the 29th as your last time on.

This is Droll313, RAZ has been moving this week. He just got into his new apt yesterday so internet might be just a little while longer. Also, the commish is also in the process of moving to lawrence so this is the reason for the delay. The month of August is hectic for college students.

Sorry I have been moving too, We dont have internet at my apartment untill Saturday. I have been coming to the union just to get on the CPU. As kualltheway said august is real tough. I know we have had 4 people in the dynasty in the process of moving. Ill try to make it to a friends today or tonight to play my cpu game sorry guys.

no problem guys...just bear with me the week I am gone as well. Looking forward to some epic battles and trying to build/sustain a program. It sill be fun, but it just a video game after all, not overly important in the grand scheme of things.
One point for all of you that are in college...savor the amount of free time you have now. I know it SEEMS like you are busy but let me assure you, you will never have the amount of free time that you enjoy now once you enter teh work force. You could have a double major, be president of your fraternity & have a part time job and still you will end up with more free hours a day now then later in life. Enjoy this time, even when it is doing nothing more then sitting around with your buds, listening to cool music and discussing the latest Vannessa Hudgens nudes or other weighty philosphical issues.
Man I miss all the chill time.

Just starting my game agaist the computer now and the first time I went to start it the game froze in the loading screen. Not sure if it will say that I started my game twice since I didnt actually get into the game or not, but just lettinge everyone know what was up incase it did.

So the commish hasn't logged into the dynasty in a week. Jhawk34 (UNC) apparently quit the dynasty, was re invited, but hasn't accepted the invitation. KUjhawk5 (Alabama) hasn't logged in since 7/28. Is the dynasty dead???

I've been texting a bit with the commissioner. Work has been absolutely crazy for him, I think he's looking for someone to be co-commission the league so that things can get done even if he can't find the time for a week or so.

I guess I really don't understand why its difficult to log onto the dynasty, sim your game and advance once every 3-4 days. Unless a co-commissioner is going to play the game and do the recruiting? Otherwise, it takes no more than 5 minutes.

i guess it is safe to say this league is over? we never advance, large number of members do not post or ever respond to texts to play.

How far along are you in this other league? What teams are taken? Whats the advance schedule. I can't do 3x week. I can play on the weekends and usually Monday or Thursday nights. If you think that works with your leagues schedule let me know and I'd be interested in joining if this one doesn't pick up.

Jeff - I texted with the commish today and told him you were willing to co-commish. He said he really wanted to do that. Throw him a text...I don't know how that whole thing works, but if you talk to him about it, I'm sure you could get in on that stuff, and get this going pretty quickly.

ok guys I will give it a shot, hopefully we can figure this out and get this thing rolling.
other league...we started way later then this league but I think we are in week 11 or 12. it is a super conference league which means lots of user v. user games. I will check on the other teams but I know the following are available: tennessee & rutgers. If nothing else I would think we get new owners with their teams for bowl games or if no bowl then prior to the off season recuriting and other tasks.
It is an interesting league...some different styles and a couple of very strong players, even a few taht focus mainly on the running game which seems different then any of our 2 leagues have been.
I have to go to kc for a meeting this late afternoon but can text the commish tonight.

Commish, can you please either kick North Carolina out of the league or do something to allow me to play the FSU vs UNC game against the computer.
