McCay is Ready to Step Back on the Scene

Of the nation's most highly-ranked players few have kept a lower profile this summer than Shawnee (Kan.) Bishop Miege wide receiver Justin McCay. The 6-foot-3, 197-pound prospect, ranked as the nation's No. 6 athlete by Rivals.com, has spent most of his summer playing AAU basketball.

And while he has no plans of continuing his basketball career beyond high school, most realize football holds a bright future for the Rivals100 standout.

As such this weekend he'll make his first, and only, trip of the summer to check out Florida's Friday Night Lights. It will be his first trip to Gainesville and McCay is excited to check out something new.

"I've enjoyed things being low-key," McCay said. "I'm going to Florida on Thursday for the ESPN thing and Friday Night Lights. I'll probably just be working as a receiver that's what I am wanting to do in college."
