SCOOP HD: Manning Shines Near End of Kimball Career










DALLAS -- Few players in the state of Texas have been more closely watched through their prep career than Dallas Kimball four-star defensive tackle Justin Manning. The mixture of being the younger brother of a former Rivals.com five-star and making himself known as a sophomore it's been impossible to ignore the 6-foot-2, 275-pound prospect.

Recently SoonerScoop.com's SCOOPHD made it to see his opening round playoff game against Dallas Bryan Adams to watch the nation's No. 94 prospect in what was his second to last game as a Knight.

The nation's No. 11 defensive tackle was clearly the focus of Adams' scheme up front as he faced almost every kind of blocking assignment imaginable. Double-teams, chip blocks and any number of variations to slow down the athletic defensive lineman.
