Beavs add Texas TE to 2013 class

Oregon State has a knack for uncovering players that fit their needs and it looks like they may have found another talent who is set to arrive on campus on Sunday.

Sometimes players take long and winding paths to their ultimate destination, which is exactly what Will Hopkins has done. Originally part of the 2012 class, Will Hopkins was headed to Colorado Springs to play for Air Force.

The 6-foot-7, 255 pound tight end/defensive end instead played for a prep school on base, which meant his eligibility clock didn't start ticking. After a season with the prep school in Colorado, he decided that the Academy wasn't for him and moved home to Austin, Texas.
