Sooner Commit Knows More Running Backs are Coming

Having already committed to Oklahoma back in the spring after receiving offers from programs such as Alabama, Arkansas, Nebraska, TCU and Tennessee to name a few, some might say the Sooners four-star running back commitment, Samaje Perine wouldn't need to get out to camps this summer having already proven enough.

The 6-foot and 213-pound ball carrier out of Pflugerville (Texas) Hendrickson still decided to make his way out to the Rivals Camp in Houston as well as the Aaron Williams Lone Star Showcase, where he was a top performer at both, to better his game.

"I just wanted to go in and just work on the little things such as footwork and techniques catching the ball better and getting up field more," Perine explained. "You know, just getting quicker out of the backfield, being more patient and stuff like that."
