Opposing view: KU vs. Iowa State

What do the Cyclones want to do on offense and does the offense change with the new quarterback?

Iowa State would like to have a balanced offense and for the most part, that is what it gets. But it's not especially effective or efficient. ISU runs a spread with some pistol and other alignments mixed in. When it's working right, it's a run-first offense, but it hasn't necessarily been functioning very well this season. A young offensive line has also been beset by a lot of injuries. Plus starting quarterback Sam Richardson hasn't really been healthy the entire year.
