QB Manuel highlights Elite College Combine

The 4th annual Elite College Combine will be held Tuesday night at the Superdome Sports Complex in Waldwick, N.J. And, as usual, some of the top players in the Atlantic East region will be in attendance led by Rivals100 stud quarterback E.J. Manuel.

Manuel, from Virginia Beach (Va.) Bayside, will lead a group of 9 Rivals100 standouts at the event. He is joined on offense by running backs Ryan Williams and Lamar Thomas, wide receivers Deion Walker and DeJuan Miller and offensive linemen Vinston Painter and Art Forst.

On defense, tackle Masengo Kabongo and linebacker Brendan Beal represent the Rivals100.

Manuel leads a quarterback group that is also highlighted by Centreville (Va.) Westfield signal-caller Mike Glennon, Duluth (Ga.) Northview star Justin Tuggle and Salisbury (Md.) Wicomico sleeper Wayne Warren.

The running back position is loaded for the event. Led by Williams, from Manassas (Va.) Stonewall Jackson, there are three tailbacks ranked in the Rivals250. Fort Washington (Md.) Friendly teammates Josh Haden and Lamaar Thomas are battling back and forth for a slot in the Rivals100 so the competition should be interesting. 2009 tailback Theo Riddick from New Jersey is also one to watch.
