One of the names that keeps coming up when it comes to true freshemen is Corey Avery. The running back from Dallas Carter helped turn their program around. Now he wants to do the same for Kansas.

Avery at one time was committed to Ohio State. After opening up his recruiting he narrowed his list to Kansas, Texas,and Nebraska. One thing he liked about Kansas is going to a program where he could be part of a building process.
Expect to see Avery on the field when the Jayhawks play their first game against Southeast Missouri State.
