Breaking: Julian Chandler commits to Kansas

The Jayhawks have landed a commitment from corner Julian Chandler. Kansas assistant Calvin Thibodeaux had been recruitng Chandler for a long time. Chandler was committed to Louisiana Tech but decommitted yesterday.

Chandler arrived in Lawrence on Friday. He confirmed to Jayhawk Slant he committed to head coach David Beaty after meeting with him during dinner.

Chandler is a two time, all district selection from Hightower High in Texas.
