Campus Visitors: Five-Star PG Trae Young, Four-Star PF Deng Gak in town

This weekend, Kansas will host two of its biggest remaining recruiting targets in five-star point guard Trae Young and four-star power forward Deng Gak.

For Trae Young, the 6-foot-2, 170-pound point guard from North High School in Norman, Okla., and Deng Gak, the 6-foot-9, 210-pound power forward from Blair Academy in Blairstown, N.J., the recruiting process is nearing its end.

Young, the No. 14 ranked player in the class, has officially visited Oklahoma (9/16), Texas Tech (9/29) and Kentucky (10/14). His official visit to Kansas this weekend is his final scheduled official visit.

For Gak, the No. 91 ranked player in the class, visits to Miami (FL) and Florida have taken place, while he's scheduled to visit Kansas this weekend. Following his weekend visit to Kansas, Gak has no additional visits scheduled at this time.

Throughout his recruitment, Gak received scholarship offers from the likes of Kansas, Duke, Florida, Indiana, Miami (FL), Alabama, Cincinnati, Connecticut, Georgia Tech, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Rutgers, Seton Hall, SMU, Texas A&M and others.
