Draper plans to visit Kansas

Kansas has made it clear in their latest round of offers that they are still in the market for more cornerbacks in their 2012 class. On player that is close to the top of their board is Sean Draper. Kansas coaches recently came by last week for an in home visit. Draper had already met Kansas coaches Rod Ianello and Ron Powlus when the two coached for Akron.
"They really came by to talk about the tradition of Kansas and what they were going to do with the program," Draper said. "I already knew them when they were at Akron so they were trying to keep that connection going."

Draper has a busy January coming up. He is traveling to Louisville this weekend, to Illinois on the weekend of the 20th, and Kansas on the 27th. Besides his conversation with the Kansas coaches, Draper doesn't know a lot about Kansas. He asked several people he trusted about the new head coach Charlie Weis and they all came to the same answer.
"I heard a lot of good things and everybody I talked to said that I need to go check out Kansas," Draper said.
One of the main areas that Draper is going to look at when he sits down to make a recruiting decision is the quality of the education.
"I want to either study sports science or physical therapy so I want a place that has a good medicine program," Draper said. "Also I want a place where I can transfer my early college credits so I can graduate early. Early playing time is also something I am going to look at."
As of right now, Iowa's school of medicine has impressed Draper the most, but the cornerback said he doesn't have any favorites at the moment.
"I still got to see all the schools and then after that then we will sit down as a family and decide."
