Five-Star PF Cliff Alexander to Kansas

While several rumors began to swirl early this morning regarding Cliff Alexander, the No. 4 ranked player in the 2014 class just announced his decision moments ago during a live announcement.
KU's 2014 recruiting class received a major boost just moments ago. Cliff Alexander, the 6-foot-8, 240-pound power forward from Curie High School in Chicago, Ill., announced his intentions to sign with Bill Self and the Kansas Jayhawks during a live announcement on ESPNU.

Throughout his recruitment, Alexander, one of the nation's top prospects in the 2014 class, officially visited DePaul, Illinois, Memphis and Kansas. However, it became clear Kansas, Illinois and DePaul were the frontrunners for the five-star big man.
With friends and family watching, Alexander verbally committed to Kansas during a press conference inside Curie High School.
