Strength and conditioning coach Scott Holsopple had to pause for a second when asked about what player came along in his program. Then he said Keba Agostinho. Holsopple said Agostinho was 252 when they got them before spring football and is now in the mid 280 range.
Holsopple said "you have to jump in and get dirty yourself" with the players.
Just watch the stretching portion of practice along with warm-ups and one can tell Holsopple brings an intense style every day. But he said results don't always come from ripping the players.
"Fear is the motivator for a little bit," he said. "But love is always stronger than fear. You have to make sure that you are there with them the whole time."
