Jackson will visit KSU, KU

When Darreon Jackson opened up his recruiting he decided he would take visits to in-state schools Kansas State and Kansas.
The next two weeks will shape where he goes to school the next four years so he got advice from someone he trusts.

Jackson's cousin, Cardale Jones, who helped Ohio State to a national title, told him to find a coaching staff he is comfortable with.
"He told me 75 percent of the time you are with your position coach during practice and team meetings," Jackson said. "So you have to be comfortable with them because they will be like your family."
On Monday Jackson announced his recruiting was open after decommitting from Texas Tech. That night he had an in-home visit with coaches from Boise State.
Jackson received an offer from the Broncos in the fourth week of the season and took a visit there in December.
On Tuesday Kansas defensive coordinator Clint Bowen conducted a visit followed the next night by Kansas State defensive coordinator Tom Hayes.
Jackson decided he will visit Kansas State this weekend and Kansas on January 30.
"I want to go to both places and look around," he said. "I am looking to see what place I feel most comfortable and where I fit best."
