Jeremiah Jordan is cramming in several visits before he gets ready to sign his letter of intent in two weeks. The 6-foot-6, 240 pound defensive end is set to start his visit with Kansas on Friday.

“Coach Williams the defensive line coach from Kansas has been in contact with me for a while,” Jordan said of Jesse Williams. “I have been talking for them with them for a couple months. I have a good relationship with coach Williams coach Beaty. I am ready to go there and check it out.”

Jordan is currently on a visit to Fresno State and last weekend took a visit to Louisville.

College recruiters like his size and frame and that is one reason he has picked up multiple offers in the last month. This year at Mt. San Jacinto he had 49 tackles and 12 of those were for a loss. The Jayhawks were the first offer him a scholarship.

“Coach Williams said he likes my length and my height,” Jordan said. “He said he likes how long my arms are get off how quick I get off the ball.”

Jordan ended up at Victor Valley after leaving the Atlanta where he was born and raised. Two years later he is going to ready and make another move so there are things he is looking at when it comes to choosing a college.

“My relationship with the defensive line coach, relationship with my teammates and the head coach are important,” Jordan said. “Everybody on the front seven including the linebackers have to come together as a unit. I want to get with the defensive lineman on my visit who are returning and get the vibe from them.”

After visiting Lawrence, Jordan said he will take one more official visit that will either go to Washington State or Cincinnati.
