2017- Lipscomb had 70 tackles including 18 for a loss and 8.5 sacks as a junior. He led VMI in sacks and tackles for a loss as well as the Southern Conference.

THREE-YEAR LETTERMAN – Returning starter who has established himself at outside linebacker...starting his third season as a starter and will give the defense experience and leadership...will be a key performer at a deep position group.

2016 – Played in all 11 games and was on the field for 687 snaps...seventh on the team in total tackles with 18 solos and 18 assists for 36 stops...ranked third on the unit in tackle-for-loss with 5.5 for 27 yards...logged a season-high six tackles against Morehead State with a tackle-for-loss for -4 yards...posted five tackle games against Furman and Western Carolina and also racked up an eight yard sack against Western Carolina...credited with a quarterback hurry and two pass breakups against Mercer...lettered for the third time.

2015 - Played in 11 games and started seven games at outside linebacker at mid-season…racked up 18 solo tackles and 14 assists for 32 total tackles…credited with four tackles-for-loss for 24 yards including two sacks generated against Furman and Mercer…forced a fumble and recovered against Furman…had quarterback hurries against Mercer and The Citadel…broke up three passes against Morehead State with five tackles including one-for-loss.
