On Thursday afternoon, Scotty Middleton, the 6-foot-6, 180-pound small forward from Sunrise Christian Academy in Bel Aire, Kan., narrowed his list of schools, and just five remain. When the dust finally settled, just Kansas, UConn, Ohio State, Seton Hall, and Texas A&M were left standing for Middleton, the No. 97 ranked player in the 2023 class.
