St. John Vianney wide receiver Ishmael Hyman has faxed in his letter of intent and is the newest Kansas Jayhawk.

Main reason you chose Kansas: Coach Ianello recruited me so hard. He's the person I am going to be around the most since he is my receivers coach and I think he's a great guy. He's got a good background. He's coached all those Notre Dame guys. I was recruited by schools that were already good but I wanted to go to a school that was struggling and help them get back.

Favorite Musical Artist: Meek Mill.

biggest challenge you have had to overcome:I haven't really been through that many challenges. The big challenges will probably come up in college trying to adjust to everything and away from my family.

Favorite Football memory: Probably this year we were losing to our rival and it was overtime. One of the first plays of overtime we threw a quick five yard pass and I took it the rest of the way.

Favorite Athlete Growing Up: Deion Sanders. Everyone wants to be like him when they are growing up. He's flashy and entertaining.

Favorite Vacation Spot: Jamaica because it's where I am from. While I wasn't born there but that's where my family is from.

Plan for after college: I am thinking my degree might be in athletic training or sports management.
