Slant TV: Self says KU has room to improve

On January 22, 2011, Kansas saw its 69 game home court winning streak inside Allen Fieldhouse come to a crashing halt. Despite building what appeared to be a commanding 18-3 lead over Texas, the Jayhawks, still shocked and stunned from the unexpected death of Thomas Robinson's mother the night before, simply ran out of gas. However, since that time, No. 2 ranked Kansas (23-1; 8-1) has been just about flawless on the hardwood.
The Jayhawks have won five straight games, and done so in convincing fashion. While Bill Self is pleased with the progress and development of this team, there is still room for improvement.
