The Jayhawk Summer Finale kicks off on Wednesday night with a number of marquee games.


Wednesday Night Breakdown of Marquee Games

6:00 p.m. (Court 1): The evening session begins with a showdown between the St. Louis Eagles (16U) and the Dakota Schoolers (16U). The Eagles feature 2019 small forward Marcedus Leech from Poplar Bluff (MO) High School. Leech recently received a scholarship offer from Kansas.

7:15 p.m. (Court 1): This is a game Kansas fans won't want to miss, as KC Run GMC (16) is led by five-star power forward Bol Bol from Bishop Miege High School. KC Run GMC will battle Team Rush 2018 (an Adidas Gauntlet team sponsored by Jayhawk Legend Brandon Rush).

8:30 p.m. (Court 3): This match-up features No. 1 ranked (indihoops.com) KC Run GMC (15U) squad against against No. 14 ranked Team Thad. KC Run GMC (15U) features 2019 power forward Jeremiah Robinson (son of Lester Earl) and 2019 shooting guard Zach Harvey. Both Robinson, who attends Bishop Miege High School in Roeland Park, Kan., and Harvey, who attends Hayden High School in Topeka, Kan., have received scholarship offers from Kansas.

8:30 p.m. (Court 1): Without question, this is a game you simply don't want to miss on the opening night of the Jayhawk Summer Finale. Here we have KC Run GMC (17U) matched up against Team Rush 2017. A player to watch in this game, which is being billed as Kansas City's Bragging Rights game featuring the toughest kids from the KC area, is is Blue Valley Northwest Guard Darien Jackson.
