Thon Maker, the 7-foot-0, 210-pound center was in Lawrence, Kan., on Friday night to take in KU's season opener against Northern Colorado. Late on Thursday afternoon, Maker, who attends Athlete Institute Basketball Academy, indicated that Kansas is one of the schools recruiting him the hardest.

In all, Maker, while on ESPNU, mentioned Arizona State, Kansas, Kentucky, Notre Dame, Indiana, and St. John's as the schools recruiting him the hardest.
