Pete Thamel reported this afternoon Wisconsin is targeting Kansas assistant Jeff Grimes as their next offensive coordinator.

Jayhawk Slant has learned Grimes is expected to take the job at Wisconsin after one year at Kansas.

This leaves one coordinator opening at KU with the transfer portal expected to open on Monday.

Expect Lance Leipold to move fast and fill the offensive coordinator opening soon. This will not be a long process.
