The Kansas coaches were wrapping up the first portion of the 2019 recruiting announcing 10 new signees. But that didn’t keep them from working ahead and looking to the future.

Turner Corcoran, one of the top offensive linemen in the country for the 2020 class, spent time talking to multiple Kansas coaches this afternoon.

He was re-offered a scholarship and spoke with Les Miles, Chip Lindsey, and Luke Meadows.

“It was great talking to him,” Corcoran said about Miles. “He’s got a lot of football knowledge and he knows how to run programs. I’m excited to see what him, Coach Meadows and Coach Lindsey are able to put together this fall.”

Lindsey the offensive coordinator and Meadows offensive line coach spent time letting Corcoran know about their offense.

“We just small talked about their offense and how they were going to get rolling,” Corcoran said. “They talked about how important it was to get good offensive lineman to fuel it.”

Corcoran from Free State has already received offers from Michigan, Oklahoma, Clemson, Ohio State and many more Power Five schools. He is ranked the nation’s seventh best offensive line recruit in the latest 2020 rankings.

The Kansas coaches want a chance to build an early relationship with him.

“We talked a little bit about visits and when we my family and I could come up in the winter for a basketball game,” he said. “I think that would be fun for us to get to know each other better.”
