Breaking: Khalil Herbert picks Kansas

Florida running back Khalil Herbert confirmed to Jayhawk Slant on Saturday evening he committed to the Jayhawks.

Herbert committed to Kansas head coach David Beaty during his official visit.

Herbert trains with former Kansas running back Tony Sands. On Friday Sands told Jayhawk Slant he expected Herbert to leave Lawrence a Jayhawk and that prediction came true.

Kansas running backs coach Reggie Mitchell was active recruiting Herbert over the last two months.
